  10.        This chapter describes the known problems with the current
  11.        release of OasisIII and how to work around them.

  13.          a.  When using the TTTToooogggggggglllleeeessss view and clicking on the
  14.              DDDDooooccccuuuummmmeeeennnnttttssss menu, oasisIII can occasionally core dump
  15.              (bug #264718).

  17.          b.  This problem only applies to the dms subsystem
  18.              (separate beta inst product). After the initial
  19.              loading of oasisIII data for nightly updates, the very
  20.              first time through this process (and only the first
  21.              time), the indexing procedure will run for a *very*
  22.              long time (on the order of several days) for some of
  23.              the larger data collections.  After this initial
  24.              indexing, however, processing will probably be limited
  25.              only by the time it takes to copy data from the master
  26.              oasisIII data hub.
